<tc>SWAN PEARL NECKLACE</tc>

It was around spring when we were approached by Localers in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, to create an item to commemorate their 10th anniversary. The theme we were given was "swans."

In winter, they come to rest their wings in the Nakatsugawa River that flows in front of the store, and customers enjoy watching the swans together. In the photo I saw, a pair of swans was seen swimming leisurely, without a care in the world.

This piece expresses its graceful and serene appearance in jewelry.

The dazzling white feathers are made of high-quality pale pearls, and the organic shape from the head to the neck is expressed in sterling silver. The mantel does not look like a swan at first glance, but it also contains a little humor that only those who notice it will understand.
